Legal Feasibility of a European Unemployment Benefits Scheme

On 11 July 2016, EURO-CEFG's Scientific Coordinator René Repasi gave a presentation on the legal feasibility of a European Unemployment Benefits Scheme at a conference organised by the Brussels-based think tank Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), the European Commission and the Slovak Council Presidency in Burssels. The conference dealt with the subject of a Euroepan Unemployment Benefits Scheme, its economic added value and possible implementation. Repasi was one of the speakers next to Commissioners Marianne Thyssen and Pierre Moscovici, Italian Finance Minister Pier Carlo Padoan and economists Sebastian Dullien and Paul De Grauwe.
